The Virginia Writers Project is in its second year and aims at quarterly publication of poetry, prose, creative history, Virginia history, and visual art (photography, graphic and fine arts). The journal is inspired by the original nationwide writers program of the federal Works Project Administration (later called the WPA) of the 1930s and is open to writers at all skill levels.
